THE MAP OF ARCADIA
The all in one space to learn about the world of Arcadia and its many nations.

Hakon
Little is currently known about the history of Hakon. As the center of Redstone engineering on the continent, there have been past invasions, conducted with the intent of securing both a Redstone supply as well as the knowledge required to use it.
Drengr
The main city of Hakon, the most developed and technologically advanced; it is the only area where people will go slightly out of their way to socialize.

Threll
A little bit less developed city on the outskirts of Drengr, a rural more laid back area where people tend to go for peace and quiet.

Kaning
Location of the nations sea ports and the only way they send out and receive supplies. The true conduit for all things deemed as "goods".

Incaritha
Incaritha, although a nation, functions more like a tribe. It is as old as at least recorded history and is respected by most of the countries that surround it due to its age and connection to the spiritual arts.
General Info
=Province=
Incaritha is organized into a single province and most of the population is within one community.

General Info
=Government & Politics=
Functionally more like a tribe than a nation-state, Incaritha is nominally a societal democracy, but also features a divinely-appointed permanent figurehead who holds significant de-facto power. As the nation is highly insular, focused on its own day-to-day operations, it has not had major interactions with the other nations. The population is generally granted significant freedoms, including the freedom of speech.
General Info
=Culture & Society=
Incaritha is a highly egalitarian society, with no tiered citizenship or economic classes (barring the sole exception of the figurehead's existence). No jobs (except ruling) is held as inherently preferable or more desirable than others. Similarly, there is no discrimination nor xenophobia expressed towards other species or outsiders, though the small population is mostly human.

Verdantia
The Monarchy of Verdantia is an ancient state that has seen a continuous monarchical lineage since the start of recorded history. Verdantia was recently invaded and subjugated by Atlas, under the leadership of Cronus.
Meliora
The urban province that rules over Verdantia that includes the capital city, a royal castle, and an pristine academy of magic.

Patior
An "industrial" badlands province centered on gold mining that borders Atlas. Its main town "Faramore" and the neighboring volcanic mountain "Krygora" are its centerpieces. Underneath the main settlement lies a darker community called "The Undercity".

Frondere
A relatively rural agricultural region in which much of the nation's populace works. However, pressures begun to rise with Atlas's demands.

Khionis
Khionis has been ruled by an unbroken chain of monarchs since time immemorial (or at least, since records have started being kept). Khionis features a singular province that acts as both capital and industrial heartland. The remainder of its territory is frigid waters.
General Info
=Province=
Due to the amount of water within Khionis’s borders the nation only has 1 core province acting as both its industrial and capital province.

General Info
=Government & Politics=
Khionis is ruled by an absolute monarch (currently King Aragon Hailheart) with an advisory council (consisting of the treasurer, right-hand man, meister, and head of the king's guard) that has no inherent powers. The heir of the monarch is trained from birth to fulfill their duties as future head of state.
General Info
=Culture & Society=
The populace of Khionis is generally highly religious, and hold superstitions not directly related to their faith. Matching their insularity as a nation, xenophobia in commonplace, as are elitist and distrustful attitudes towards outsiders. The Khionian society is rigidly structured and stratified, with a clearly delineated class system and tiered citizenship.

Atlas
Previously a monarchy, regicide Cronus overthrew the previous government and established himself as the new “Emperor” of Atlas. Under Cronus’s rule, Atlas recently invaded and subjugated the neighboring nation of Verdantia, extracting hefty tribute payment (labeled as “taxes”) in the process.
Aevum
The heartland and capital state of the empire, is found in the northern end of the empire, and is led directly by Cronus.

Aurum
The largely-undeveloped desert province of the west that directly borders Verdantia. Populations within Kalum and Aurum experience far lower standards of living compared to the those within Aevum.

Kalum
In the south is a frigid and barren wasteland bordering the same icy sea as Khionis. Atlas tends to migrate populations deemed "undesirable" to these less-developed outlying regions as a matter of policy.
